Description
There is an hour near the end of the day when everything turns slightly
gold. These earrings hold that hour.
Three irregular forms drop from a stainless steel stud, a small heartlike
shape, a rounded pebble, and a longer oval, each one a different shade of
warm metallic clay. The surface is hand textured, almost hammered, so it
catches the light unevenly rather than throwing it straight back.
Nothing here is a perfect shape. The edges were left close to how they came
off the hand, and the slight irregularity between pairs is kept rather than
smoothed away.
The maker's hand remains in every pair.
